Hometown Heroes

 

Have you earned an academic scholarship to attend a college or university? Do you know someone who has? 

 

Do you have a relative or friend serving in the armed forces overseas or who has recently made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq or Afghanistan?

 

Are you recently returned or in preparation to go on a volunteer or missions effort out of state or out of the U.S. alone or with a team/group?

 

If these or other areas of achievement and selfless service apply to you or someone you know, we’d like to honor them as one our Chicagoland hometown heroes each month.

 

If you have a candidate to nominate for consideration as a hometown hero, send in a photo and a brief explanation as to why you’re submitting them along with personal information about where they’re from and what they have accomplished or are involved in.  Send submissions to heroes@chicagoarchitecturetoday.com.  Entries will not be returned.  Posting of submissions not guaranteed.  Posted submissions will be up for a minimum of 30 days.
