Begun as a small neighborhood fund raiser, now
in its 25th year, Taste of Lincoln Avenue is one
of the largest neighborhood festivals in the
region, covering six city blocks. The event
features 300 vendors and presents approximately
40 musical acts on five stages. Every music
genre is represented: from blues and country to

Halsted Market Days is the largest two-day

Chase / After only two seasons, City
Chase has become the largest "Urban Adventure"
race series in the world! City Chase is a unique
urban adventure that requires participants to
exhibit teamwork, resourcefulness, determination
and the ability to make decisions on the fly as
they search for ChasePoints scattered in unknown
locations throughout Chicago. Teams of two
receive a clue sheet detailing a variety of
physical, intellectual and humorous challenges,
designed to push comfort zones. The challenges
are designed to test Mind, Body and Spirit. To
conquer this 4-6 hour urban event, 2-person
teams will run, walk and use public transit to
navigate their way throughout the city, while
calling family and friends for help, accessing
the Internet, and even employing assistance of
total strangers. The first team to complete the
required ChasePoints and cross the finish line

Accenture Triathlon / The
World’s largest Triathlon, it starts with a swim
in Monroe Harbor, then bike North Lakeshore
drive, a run through Museum campus and a finish
at Columbus and Balbo. The post race party
includes participants, friends and family, with

post-Labor Day event heralds the unofficial
